Please note that all parts of the image must be photographed by the author, who owns the copyright to all submitted works. Infringements will be sanctioned!

Definition of Monochrome (FIAP) Monochrome images may not be submitted in color sections in print or digital, and vice versa. An image is only monochrome if it gives the impression of being without color, this includes only grayscale of pure black and pure white, or it is completely toned in one color e.g. sepia, red, gold etc. but it is still a grayscale image. A multiple toned or only partially toned image, as well as images with a color key, do not meet the monochrome definition and must be submitted as a color image.

Entries from participants under the age of 25 are exempt from the fee (proof of age).

Maximum width 1920 pixels, maximum height 1080 pixels (portrait images!)
Larger images, even in only one dimension, cannot be stored in the system.

Smaller image sizes are also accepted, but the projection will not be displayed as a full image. The file size must not exceed 2 MB per image when uploading. The jury will use TV sets with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 px.

The fact that the participant participates by simply submitting his/her images or files to a salon under FIAP patronage, he/she accepts without exception and without objection the following conditions:
- that the images submitted may be examined by FIAP to determine whether they comply with FIAP regulations and definitions, even if the entrant is not a member of FIAP,
- that FIAP uses all the means at its disposal for this endeavor,
- that any refusal to cooperate with FIAP or any refusal to provide the original images from the camera or to provide sufficient evidence will be sanctioned by FIAP.
In the case of sanctions resulting from non-compliance with FIAP rules, the name of the participant will be published in a form that is useful for informing about violations of the rules. It is recommended to leave the EXIF data intact in the submitted files to facilitate any investigations.
If at any time, in the reasonable discretion of the Contest Organizer or the judges, before, during or after the judging of a Contest, it is determined that an entrant has submitted entries in which one or more images may not comply with these terms and conditions, the entrant accepts the definitions stated. The Contest Director reserves the right to remove the entry from the Contest and to void any or all recognition or awards associated with the Contest. In such circumstances, fees may be forfeited or refunded. The entrant acknowledges that the decision of the competition organizers or judges is final.
FIAP NOTICE
In order to have legal authority on those who do not respect the rules of FIAP, the organiser must make sure that all participants of an online event under FIAP Patronage tick a box next to which the following text is stated:
I hereby expressly agree to FIAP document 018/2017 « Conditions and regulations for FIAP Patronage » and FIAP document 033/2021« Sanctions for breaching FIAP regulations and the red list ». I am particularly aware of chapter II « Regulations for International photographic events under FIAP patronage » of FIAP document.
